Draft night

Captains pick from their own phones, and every pick shows up on everyone's screen the second it's made.

Picks show up everywhere: When a captain makes a pick, every phone in the room shows it with a pop up.
Snake or open: Take turns in a snake draft with a banner showing who's up, or let captains pick any time.
A fair draft order: Rinkzy shuffles the order with everyone watching.
Team strength: A strength bar for each team moves as picks come in, so you can see if teams are even.
Who's here: See which captains have joined, who's missing, and how many people are watching.
Who plays well together: A player's page shows the teammates they score with most.
Skill suggestions: For the admin: a suggested skill rating for each player, based on past points and draft spots.
Undo and history: Undo a pick made by mistake. Every pick is saved on the player's page.

Game night

The scorekeeper uses a phone and a staff code. Everyone else can follow the score live.

Goals and assists: Tap Goal, then pick the scorer and up to two assists. The score, standings, and leaders update right away.
Goal replays: Phones watching the game play a short animated replay of each goal, with sound.
Penalty clock: Put a player in the box for 1:30, 2:00, or 5:00 and every phone shows the time counting down.
Goalies and shots: Track who's in net, change goalies during a game, and count shots for save percentage.
Overtime and shootouts: Three periods, overtime, and a shootout.
Fixing mistakes: Change a goal or assist, even after the game ends. Undo, redo a period, or record a forfeit.
Goal limits: If your league limits goals per player or uses a mercy rule, Rinkzy enforces it.
Game recap: Every finished game keeps its goals, penalties, goalies, shots, and how long it ran.

Three ways to get your games in, and one place for everyone to find them.

Build it in Rinkzy: Pick your dates, nights, rinks, and game length. Rinkzy makes a season where every team plays every other team, plus playoffs.
Use a Google Sheet: Keep your schedule in a sheet. Rinkzy shows a preview, then syncs it.
Use your city's site: If your city posts its schedule on TeamSideline, Rinkzy pulls it in every 3 hours and keeps your league's scores.
Phone calendars: Players subscribe once and schedule changes show up in their calendar.
Share and print: Share a picture of the week's games, or print the week or the whole season.
Find your team: Pick a team to see only its games. The page remembers your division.

Standings and stats

Everything updates from the scores your league enters.

Standings: 2 points for a win, 1 for a tie. Ties in the standings go to fewest goals allowed, then most goals scored.
Leaders: Points, goals, assists, and points per game. Goalies are ranked by save percentage.
Best duos: The teammates who score together most.
Column help: Tap any column heading to see what it means.
Player pages: Each player's seasons, divisions, team results, best games, and draft history.
Player search: Look up anyone who has played in the league.

Season cards

Players earn collectible cards for what they do in games your league scores in Rinkzy. There are 31 kinds.

Season awards: Eight awards per division, like the points leader and the best goalie, revealed 30 minutes after the division's last game.
Cards that level up: Some cards go up a level each time it happens again, from Bronze to Epic.
Big moments: Overtime winners, comebacks, last place beating first place, and more.
Trophy cases: The league has one and so does every player. Champions lift a 3D trophy.

Player accounts

Optional. Players sign up with an email and password, and one account works in every league on Rinkzy.

Claim your page: Rinkzy matches the email from your league sign up, or checks the phone number on file. If neither matches, the league can approve it.
Photo and nickname: Add a photo and the name you go by. It shows on your page and your cards.
About you: Position, which way you shoot, your number, and your hockey background.
Privacy: Show each detail to everyone or only the league, or keep your stats private.
Top five: Pick the five cards shown first in your trophy case.
Invites: The admin can email every player a link to sign up.

Refs

One link for your refs instead of a weekly group text.

Ref signup: Refs add their name and the divisions they work.
Take a game: Refs see the open spots and take one with a tap. Rinkzy won't let a ref take two games at the same time.
Who's free: For any game, see which refs are free, and why the others aren't.
Ref report: Games worked per ref this season, with a spreadsheet download.

Alerts and the league board

Alerts work once a player adds your league's site to their home screen and turns them on.

By division: Players choose their divisions. Game day alerts only go to those divisions. League news goes to everyone.
Game day reminders: Sent at 4 PM on every game day.
Season alerts: When the draft starts, when teams are set, and when the schedule is posted.
League board: Admins and staff post announcements and can pin them or send a reminder. Everyone else can comment and like.

Admin tools

The admin console works on a phone.

Setup: Add your league name, logo, and banner in a few steps. Add or rename divisions any time.
Roster import: Paste a Google Sheet link, check the preview, and import. Returning players keep their history.
Captains and staff: Captains sign in with a passcode or their account. Scorekeepers get a staff code.
More admins: Add other admins whenever you need help.
New seasons: Starting a new season keeps every past team, champion, stat, and card. Last season's captains lose access.
Clean records: Merge duplicate players, fix names, and hide a player's stats if they ask.

Your league's look

Your league gets its own web address and looks like your league, not Rinkzy.

Your address: yourleague.rinkzy.com. When players add it to their phone, your logo is the icon.
Your colors: Your colors run through the site, the shared schedule pictures, and the printouts.
Your banner: Your own artwork across the top of the home page.
Youth leagues: Rosters can be private, and we turn off the cards meant for adult leagues.
